To be an educator:

I have always believed that being an educator is one of the most rewarding jobs.  To watch a student learn a new concept or attempt something they thought was once difficult is a great moment.  I believe that all students can learn and have the ability to master skills; it is the job of the teacher to find what works best for the student and to create the lesson so that the learning is possible for that student.  It is the job of the educator to create a safe learning environment, provide all necessary resources, and provide encouragement throughout the learning process.  Teaching goes beyond what is found in a teacher's manual.  It takes skill, passion, and knowledge to be a great teacher.  You will see in the material provided by clicking on the links below that I possess that skill, passion, and knowledge for the teaching profession.
